The Crème de la Crème Wedding Show is an annual grand wedding showcase in Vancouver, BC that features a luxury bridal fashion show, unique vendors, and displays of trendsetting designs. This year, the spectacular event was held at the historic Fairmont Hotel Vancouver where hundreds of bride-to-be’s and their wedding parties joined the celebration. The show is put on yearly by Countdown Events.
Here is our look back at the show, and some of our favourites:

Every vendor spent countless hours perfecting their latest designs and services for the bride-to-be’s and wedding parties. The show was an absolutely stunning display of the crème de la crème of not only bridal fashion, but other vendors and services. Here are some of our favourite vendors from the show:

Last week we were invited to preview Bisou Bridal’s fashion show featuring the launch of Romona Keveza bridal couture. Romona Keveza is a New York based collection, however the gowns are manufactured in Canada. The collection is exclusive to Bisou Bridal and features gowns ranging in price from $2000 to $7000.
It was a great evening full of familiar faces, gorgeous gowns, and sweet treats. Here are a few iPhone photos, and stay tuned for professional photos to come.
Are you looking to save on your wedding dress? If so, you’re in luck! My absolute favourite Bridal boutique, Marcella’s la Boutique, is hosting a two-day Sample Sale! Marcella’s, located in the heart of downtown Seattle, WA, is a short 2.5 hour drive from Vancouver, and is definitely worth the trip! The sale takes place January 12th and 13th, and features gowns & evening wear from: Monique Lhuillier, Vera Wang, Lazaro, Carolina Herrera & Romona Keveza, to name a few. All gowns and evening wear will be priced 30%-80% off regular price. Now you may be wondering what condition the dresses are in, and if it’s really worth the trip. Marcella’s has an exceptional variety of styles & colors from top designers, and also keeps their (floor) dresses in great shape (which is super important when buying a sample dress). If you’re up for a drive, or have a craving for a day of American shopping, be sure to check out their sale and keep in mind, appointments are recommended!
A few weeks ago, I spent the afternoon with a lovely bride-to- be & her family at Bisou Bridal. The bride gracefully tried gown after gown, looking for that one dress that was absolute perfection, and would of course take her fiancé’s breath away. Shortly after trying on a variety of dresses, the latest collection from Monique Lhuillier caught her eye. It was not long ago, when I first fell in love with Monique’s elegant lines and divine French lace. I remember being torn as I loved two dresses, and could not decide which was the ‘one’. Monique’s gowns exude timeless elegance, and stunning silhouettes. Good thing I made my choice (Swan Lake) few years back, as it would be tough picking just one from the Spring 2012 collection. Take a look at some my personal favorites from Monique, available at Bisou Bridal.
