Capishe- Maui

While on our annual family trip to Maui, I couldn’t resist & simply had to write about the amazing dining experience I just had, at (none other than my favourite restaurant) Capishe. Nestled on top of the hill, just a quick drive away from The Shops at Wailea, located inside the boutique Hotel Wailea, is where you’ll find this fantastic restaurant. From the floating Ginger décor, to the breath taking views, and of course the exquisite the cuisine, Capishe is an experience you soon won’t forget! The cuisine is an eclectic ensemble melding classic Italian, and French techniques with fresh interpretations of traditional dishes.

I first discovered Capishe a few years ago, but this trip I had a chance to spend more time at the restaurant and learned about the variety of options available for special events, including weddings. The restaurant has two levels, can seat up to 40 on the balcony level, and just over 60 down below in a romantic garden, that is rustic yet elegant. As one of Maui’s top fine dinning restuarants, Capishe is a definite ‘must’ for all visitors & locals alike. As for destinations weddings, Maui tops the list of Sunny Destination venues year-after year. I must add, this gorgeous restaurant, beautifully situated on top of the hill in Wailea, is a serene and secluded venue for a wedding, with an Italian & rustic feel you won’t find anywhere else.
