Couture Balloons

Did you know balloons have been around sine 1824? Bet you also didn’t know that balloons have made a come back? If you are like most of us, myself included, you wouldn’t pair balloons with wedding décor. That’s precisely because you have yet to encounter the new and chic ‘Couture Balloons’, that have left planners and brides wanting more. This past summer, I saw balloons used in the most magical way at weddings and soirees alike. These are not the everyday small latex balloons, but instead, they are great big iridescent balloons, along with glitter, tassels & fringe! They come in a variety of shapes, sizes & colours, and bring a romantic & playful feel to any event. Couture balloons may sound fancy and pricey, but in fact they are excellent for replacing expensive florals, backdrops, and other décor pieces. They can be very cost-efficient, especially if you can add little touches by DIY’s (do it yourself), that reflect your personal style & add more flare. Available at Party City and many online sites, such as BalloonFast, Couture balloons are a HOT wedding trend that we can’t seem to get enough of.

Personally, I love the great big ones with the sparkly FRINGE. Which, by the way, is a super easy DIY craft! (I recently made one with the assistance of my 4 year old son!).
