Portia turns 3!

Here’s a look at fun bash full of pink & frills I put together for one of my favourite local bloggers, Jessica (the talented writer behind North Shore Mama) and her adorable little girl, Portia.

Four Must Haves to perfect any kids birthday:

Colour: add a pop of colour to your table / décor (colourful napkins + straws are a simple way to brighten up the spread)

Sweets: Macarons are my favourite, and far less messy than cupcakes!! Sweets such as candy, can also be used as decor when arranged in jars or vases

Garland / Banner: pink + white fringe garland (super easy DIY craft), it was the prefect backdrop for table

Cake: Thanks to Tessa at the Sweet Bakeshop for making this delicious ombre pink cake for our little guest of honour!
